We are representing a well-established Main Contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a respected contractor delivering a wide range of general construction projects across Staffordshire.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and financial management of construction projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing all commercial aspects of projects from start to finish

*

Preparing and managing cost estimates, valuations, and forecasts

*

Procuring and managing subcontractors and supply chain partners

*

Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards

*

Monitoring project progress against financial targets

*

Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

*

Track record of delivering general construction projects

*

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

*

Excellent organisational and communication abilities

*

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
