A well-established fire protection specialist are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work in their Kent office supporting the commercial delivery of passive fire protection works across social housing refurbishment and new-build projects. The Role You will be responsible for the commercial management of fire protection packages, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably. The role covers fire doors and firestopping works on long-term social housing frameworks and contracts throughout London and the Home Counties. Scope of Works * Fire door installation, replacement, and remediation * Firestopping works including penetration sealing, batt and mastic, sealants, and associated systems * Refurbishment projects with some new-build elements * High-volume, repeat works within occupied residential environments Key Responsibilities * Commercial management of multiple passive fire protection projects * Measurement, valuations, and cost control * Managing variations, final accounts, and cost reporting * Working with Schedules of Rates (SoR) and framework pricing * Liaising with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners * Supporting procurement and subcontractor management About You * Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager * Background in passive fire protection or social housing / refurbishment contracts * Knowledge of fire doors and/or firestopping works is essential * Experience working with Schedules of Rates is desirable * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Comfortable working across multiple projects and frameworks Package & Benefits * £55,000 – £65,000 salary, dependent on experience * Competitive package including additional benefits * Stable pipeline of social housing work * Opportunity to develop specialist expertise in fire protection * Supportive team environment with long-term progression opportunities f this sounds like an opportunity of interest and you have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
