New exclusive Project Quantity Surveyor position in Manchester\n\nPosition: Quantity Surveyor\n\t\nSalary: £60,000 -70,000 (dependant upon experience)\n\t\nSector: Main contractor\n\t\nLocation: Manchester, Cheshire\n\t\nRequired start date: May / June 2026\n\t\nPosted: 1st April 2026\n\nThis contractor is a central Manchester construction company that is very well established and deliver a range of projects across the Manchester and Liverpool.\n\nProjects typically range in value from £1.5 - £12 million with a repeat client base.\n\nThe Quantity Surveyor role:\n\nManaging commercial activities on a range of construction projects.\n\t\nProcurement and placing subcontractor orders.\n\t\nPricing variations, preparation of valuations, negotiating and ongoing final accounting for contractor and client accounts.\n\t\nCash flows and cost reporting.\n\t\nAttending site meetings and client meetings.\n\nAbout you:\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.\n\t\nQualified to a degree level or equivalent.\n\t\nStrong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills.\n\nWhat is on offer\n\nA competitive salary and package.\n\t\nWorking with a well established stable contractor within a supportive experienced team.\n\t\nWorking locally within the central Kent area.\n\nHow to apply\n\nPlease apply with your CV and brief project summary demonstrating your experience.
