About Our Client
Our client is a respected contractor delivering high-end and luxury residential projects. They are known for strong commercial discipline, collaborative delivery and a supportive working culture. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual performance of live projects.
The Role
You will oversee the full financial and contractual lifecycle of projects, working closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure commercial success, accurate reporting and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
*
Provide clear commercial reporting and attend site meetings with delivery teams
*
Manage cost planning, forecasting and monthly CVRs
*
Maintain project and client cash flow positions
*
Administer head contracts, including valuations, variations and claims
*
Ensure contractual compliance and timely commercial communication
*
Procure subcontractor packages in line with project programmes
*
Value subcontractor works, manage variations and agree final accounts
*
Proactively manage risk, including subcontractor compliance and insurances
*
Manage tendering and subcontractor pre-qualification processes
*
Review contract documents, drawings and RFIs
*
Track and record project changes using Procore and associated tools
*
Ensure O&M documentation is completed prior to final account close
*
Support continuous professional development and knowledge sharing
About You
*
3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (high-end residential preferred)
*
Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability
*
In-depth knowledge of JCT contracts and construction practices
*
Proficient in Procore, Excel and Bluebeam
*
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
