About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Manage project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Perform valuations and cost reporting
- Negotiate contracts and work with subcontractors
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
- Monitor compliance with legal and quality standards
- Prepare final accounts and project reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost management tools)
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Membership or working toward accreditation (e.g., RICS) is an advantage
