Job Description
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to gain experience on high value and impactful projects\n\nAbout the role of Quantity Surveyor\n\nYour role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work as part of a commercial team on a £100m+ high rise project. This will consist of 2 towers of up to 36 storeys and include residential, retail, leisure and office. You will be required to manage packages from procurement and tender through to site and final accounting.\n\nYou role will include, but not limited too:\n\nManaging subcontract packages\nManaging payments to subcontractors\nValuations and variations\nSubcontractor negotiations\nCVRsThe initial project is in Central/South East London and you must be willing to work on site in 5 days per week.\n\nKey Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:\n\nThe company are looking for a candidate with experience working with another main contractor managing packages under JCT contract.
Someone who is capable of working as part of a team and also manage their work independently.\n\nYou will have a construction related degree \nMinimum of 4 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor\nLive within commutable distance to the project locationAbout the Company:\n\nThe company are a Tier 1 Main Contractor who operate across Europe.
