The team also has extensive experience in extending and refurbishing existing care homes, working closely with developers, architects, and project managers. Role Description
This is a full-time Quantity Surveyor role based in the City of Bristol, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for some work from home. The role involves managing and monitoring costs during all phases of care home development and refurbishment projects. Key responsibilities include appointment of sub contractors and suppliers, overseeing budgets, conducting cost analysis, and generating detailed reports. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
Experience in cost reporting
Ability to conduct accurate and thorough cost analysis and budgeting
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is
Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost management
