Bennett and Game are working with an established civil engineering and highways contractor with a strong regional presence is seeking an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial Team. You will play a key role in managing financial control across multiple sites, protecting commercial interests and supporting the delivery of high-value infrastructure projects throughout the Northwest.

Preparing site measurements and weekly cost/production reports
Completing cost forecasts and commercial reporting
Liaising with site teams to assess and prepare quotations and estimates
Managing subcontractors (enquiries, orders, payment assessments)
Producing valuations and submitting to clients
Interpreting drawings and instructions, agreeing estimates with site teams and clients
Agreeing final accounts with all parties in a timely manner
Monitoring stock control and reporting to the Financial Director
Supporting finance/admin teams in account settlement
Assisting monthly and quarterly reporting preparation
Maintaining clear, accurate records and representing the business professionally at all times
Any other reasonable duties as required by managementExperience & Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Proven commercial experience within civil engineering (especially highways/structures)
Extensive experience with private and public sector clients
Solid working knowledge of NEC (mainly) and JCT contract forms
Excellent commercial awareness, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational ability and self-motivation
Proficiency in IT (MS Office, Outlook, measurement software)
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
