Quantity Surveyor – High-End Residential\n\n Regional Projects (Local to office)\n Permanent | Full-Time\n Competitive salary + package\n\nArtisan Recruit are partnering with a well-established regional contractor specialising in high-end, one-off residential builds to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Projects typically range between £500k and £4 million, delivered to a high specification for private clients.\n\nThis role is ideal for a QS who takes pride in detail, enjoys close involvement on bespoke builds, and prefers quality-led projects over volume housing.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will have full commercial responsibility for high-end residential projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with the project management and site teams.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Commercial management of bespoke, high-end residential builds (£500k–£4m)\n\n * \n\n Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans and forecasts\n\n * \n\n Valuing variations and managing change control with private clients\n\n * \n\n Procurement and management of specialist subcontractor packages\n\n * \n\n Assessing and agreeing subcontractor valuations and payments\n\n * \n\n Preparing, negotiating and closing out final accounts\n\n * \n\n Supporting tender pricing and cost planning for future residential projects\n\n * \n\n Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain\n\n * \n\n Ensuring tight cost control while maintaining high-quality delivery\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main or specialist contractor\n\n * \n\n Strong background in high-end or bespoke residential construction\n\n * \n\n Experience managing projects within the £500k–£4m range\n\n * \n\n High level of commercial awareness and attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Confident dealing with private clients and design teams\n\n * \n\n Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects\n\n * \n\n Relevant construction or commercial qualification \n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * \n\n Permanent position with a respected regional contractor\n\n * \n\n Work on bespoke, design-led residential projects\n\n * \n\n Local sites with minimal travel\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package\n\n * \n\n Supportive, hands-on management team\n\n * \n\n Long-term, secure pipeline of work\n\n * \n\n Genuine opportunity to grow with the business\n\n Interested?\nIf you’re a Quantity Surveyor with experience in high-end residential projects and are looking for a long-term role with a quality-focused contractor, we’d welcome a confidential conversation
