About the role

Our client is expanding their operations across the Midlands and is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in groundworks and civils. The successful candidate will assist with cost control, subcontractor valuations, procurement, and commercial reporting, working closely with project teams to help keep projects on budget and commercially viable. Requirements

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks, civils, or related construction sectors

* Understanding of cost control, procurement, and commercial management on groundworks projects

* Experience preparing valuations, measuring works, and managing subcontractor contracts

* Competent in commercial software (e.g., CostX, Asta, or similar) and proficient in Excel

* Strong communication skills with a commercial mindset and ability to work collaboratively across teams
