Day Rate: £350-£400

Contract: Long-Term Freelance (High likelihood of ongoing work due to strong pipeline)

About the Role

A well-established regional contractor is seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support their growing workload.

You will be responsible for full commercial control of a new project starting in London.

£8m extension and refurbishment to an Education facility starting in February

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with commercial management of a new project

* Support both post-contract commercial duties

* Oversee subcontractor procurement and management

* Handle budgeting, cost reporting, and financial tracking

* Liaise with clients and resolve commercial challenges proactively

Ideal Experience

* Background with a regional main contractor

* Strong communication and commercial awareness

* Experience on new build and refurbishment projects in central London

* Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
