Job Description

RG Set Square have a long term assignment for a Quantity Surveyor who is fluent in Dutch (this is essential for this role) You will be based in the UK, but must be open to travel on an as and when need basis for site/client meetings, valuations etc. Your travel costs will be covered.\n\nThe successful Quantity Surveyor will be managing the following procurement/commercial activities;\n\nProject - full refurbishment of 4 levels of an existing office in Maastricht, Netherlands to create new laboratories facilities\n\nTimescales - 6 week mobilisation and 30 week construction duration\n\nResource - 2-3 days a week however open for discussion for further working days\n\nSite presence - not critically, but must be open to travel on an as and when need basis for meetings / valuations etc.\n\nScope of service and experience required\n\n* Be familiar with the Dutch form of contract and the UAV 2012 conditions \n * Take control and lead on all procurement activities under a Construction Manager form of construction \n * Develop the procurement schedule and mange the tender process for each of the trade package contractors \n * Analyse and recommend the trade package contractor \n * Review the Contracts Manager on key issues \n * Manage variation items and seek Contracts Manager approval \n * Manage payment applications and variations \n * Input on the main construction budget with the Project Director\n\nIf you are interested in this long term opportunity and meet the above criteria, then please apply via the link\n\nRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
