Quantity SurveyorLocation: London-based (with some UK-wide travel)Projects: Multiple large works projects (circa £250k), residential properties & schoolsSalary: Competitive (DOE £60-70k) + car allowance and other benefitsType: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid workingAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and dynamic specialist contractor team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. While the role is London-based, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide as required.You will be the Quantity Surveyor responsible for multiple projects simultaneously, including large works projects valued around £250k these are residential reinstatement works and education sector projects (schools). Key ResponsibilitiesManaging cost control and commercial performance across multiple projectsPreparing cost plans, budgets, estimates, and valuationsProcurement of subcontractors and suppliersManaging variations, change control, and final accountsConducting site visits and attending progress meetingsEnsuring projects are delivered within budget and to contractual requirementsLiaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholdersQuantity Surveyor Key RequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industryExperience working on large works projects (circa £250k), residential, and/or education projectsStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UKRelevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)Whats on OfferCompetitive salary depending on experience (circa. £60-70k negotiable)Opportunity to work on a varied and interesting project portfolioCareer progression within a growing organisationSupportive and professional working environmentMix of both home & office working To apply, please submit your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion.Additional InformationIn addition to the salary (negotiable around £60-70k depending upon experience) you will get a car allowance and a benefits package.Denham Recruitment works across the UK and specialises in the property repairs industry.
