📍 West Midlands £45,000 – £55,000 + Package
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation across the Midlands.
Due to continued growth and a healthy secured order book, they are looking to appoint a Civils & Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for:
* An Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
* An Intermediate QS looking to develop further
* Or an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a long-term move
The Role
You’ll be working across a range of residential groundworks projects, managing costs from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and managing project budgets
* Subcontractor procurement and management
* Valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Liaising with clients, site teams, and commercial management
About You
* Experience in civils / groundworks, ideally within residential schemes
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects or packages
* Ambitious and keen to progress your career
