Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000

This is an opportunity to join one of the South East’s fastest growing food manufacturers at an exciting stage of expansion. Supplying leading brands and major retailers, the business is known for its pace, innovation and people first culture, with a strong focus on development and progression.

As part of continued growth, a newly created Quality Technologist role has been introduced to strengthen the on-site quality presence. This is a hands-on position with real involvement in day-to-day factory operations, offering excellent visibility and the chance to make a tangible impact.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the product and the process, combining shop floor quality activities with systems and technical responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Be a visible quality presence on the factory floor, supporting standards and driving best practice
Carry out quality checks, inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards
Support and maintain the Quality Management System, including documentation and record keeping
Investigate customer complaints, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement in quality and food safety
Ensure site compliance with BRC standards and support audit preparation and execution
Use systems and tools such as Excel to manage data, track trends and support reporting

Your Background

Experience in a Quality Technologist, Senior QA or similar role within food manufacturing
Good understanding of Quality Management Systems and factory-based quality processes
Strong working knowledge of BRC standards and audit requirements
Confident using systems and tools such as Excel to manage data and documentation
Proactive, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced factory environment
A hands-on individual who takes ownership and is motivated to develop their career
