The successful quality technician will play a key role in supporting and improving quality performance across the business.Main Duties – Quality Technician Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and quality documentationPerform inspection and challenge internal teams and suppliers to improve quality adherenceConduct internal audits, site inspections, and root cause/corrective action activitiesInvestigate customer complaints and audit non-conformitiesProducing quality performance reportsDelivering quality-related trainingManaging calibration, document control, and quality registersSupporting the QHSE Manager with management systems, certifications, and strategic objectives The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Quality Technician A background within a similar quality technician role, gained in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.Experience with a range of inspection equipment such as verniers and shadowgraphsInternal auditing experienceThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office.Full UK driving licence What we are able to offer: Quality Technician Enhanced pensionHealthcare cash plan If you are already a Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, Quality Coordinator, Quality Technician you may also be suitable for this role.Please contact Anna Hinton 01453 829521 Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors.
