Quality Technician required by well established manufacturing company, based in Gloucester. The successful quality technician will play a key role in supporting and improving quality performance across the business.
Main Duties – Quality Technician
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and quality documentation
Perform inspection and challenge internal teams and suppliers to improve quality adherence
Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and root cause/corrective action activities
Investigate customer complaints and audit non-conformities
Producing quality performance reports
Delivering quality-related training
Managing calibration, document control, and quality registers
Supporting the QHSE Manager with management systems, certifications, and strategic objectives
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Quality Technician
A background within a similar quality technician role, gained in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.
A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience with a range of inspection equipment such as verniers and shadowgraphs
Internal auditing experience
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence
