Quality Team Leader
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum
Hours: Mon–Thu 7:30am–4:00pm, Fri 7:30am–1:00pm (plus overtime as required)

We’re looking for a hands‑on Quality Team Leader to supervise a small quality department within an electronics / cable assembly environment. This is a key role for someone who enjoys being close to the product, leading a team and dealing directly with customers on quality matters.

The Role

Day‑to‑day supervision of quality department staff and planning of departmental workload.
Control and coordination of calibration for inspection and test equipment.
Completion of FAIRs and submission to customers, plus maintaining the customer specification register.
Direct customer liaison on build or technical queries and support during customer audits.
Process inspection of crimps and soldering, continuity testing and use of basic measuring tools.
Use of Cirrus and analyser test equipment (training provided if needed).About You

5+ years’ experience in a quality, inspection or test role, ideally within wiring, cable assemblies or electronics.
Confident supervising others and organising day‑to‑day workload.
Able to read engineering drawings, carry out continuity testing and use basic inspection tools.
Strong communication skills, comfortable dealing with customers on queries and FAIR submissions.
