We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our client based in Milton KeynesHours of work: 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm FridayThis is a key role for the business where you will be the focal point for Quality Control and Quality Assurance.You will have a small number of direct reports and will also have responsibility for hiring and training new employees as well as appraisals and other employee related matters.Key responsibilities overview:Company contact for external auditingContract reviewsISO9001; AS9100 and NADCAP approvals as well as responsibilities in accordance with these standardsRecording and reporting data as well as analysing, including information regarding quality, reliability and expectancy of the finished productWorking in partnership with production and other departmentsWorking with suppliers to ensure the quality of their product including testingDesigning and controlling training programsInvestigating any complaintsSome travel involved to meet with suppliers and customers.Our client is looking for the following skills and experience:Consistent background within Quality ManagementA bachelors degree or a relevant qualification in combination with experienceThorough knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100Good knowledge of NADCAP and preferably an understanding of ISO13485Ideally a member of Institute of AssuranceAbility to interpret a large variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram, along with abstract and concrete variablesInternal/external AuditingKnowledge of tools such as Contract Review, ERP, MRP, Work Orders and Work To ListsProduce documents such as FAIRS, PPAPS and Quality PlansKnowledge of Health and Safety Legislation Please be aware fo this role candidates need to be UK/EU CitizensQuality Personnel acting as an Employment Agency & Business (rated as one of the top 3 Agencies in Milton Keynes for the 6thyear running!).Please note due to volume of applications you will only be contacted if we are progressing your application.JBRP1_UKTJ
