Description
Managing a team of circa 5 heads the Quality Manager will report directly to the General Manager on site and lead all aspects of quality activity within the area of responsibility, with full accountability for ensuring that the agreed current and future customer quality are met throughout the product life cycle. .
Oversee quality control processes to ensure product compliance and reliability.
Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Analyse data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices within engineering and manufacturing.
Manage quality documentation and maintain accurate records for compliance purposes.
Support customer satisfaction by addressing quality-related concerns and providing solutions.Profile
A successful Quality Manager should have:
A strong background in quality assurance within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in quality management systems and relevant standards, ideally within precision engineering for example aviation.
Experience in leading audits and implementing corrective actions effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing quality issues.
