Quality ManagerAbout the business Our client is a well-established West Midlands manufacturer and distributor of specialist safety equipment, supplying trade and commercial customers across the UK. They're a close-knit, hands-on SME with a strong culture and a stable, long-tenured team. Due to the planned retirement of their current quality professional, they're now looking for the right person to take full ownership of the quality function. Summary of the Quality Manager Role This is a full-time, permanent position with genuine autonomy. You'll inherit a well-maintained, fully functional ISO 9001 QMS and be trusted to run it, develop it, and put your own stamp on it. Reporting directly to the MD, you'll be the sole quality resource — working closely with production supervisors and the workshop manager to drive quality standards from the shop floor up. There is also a clear growth path, with the business planning to pursue an additional product standard in the near future — giving the right candidate a significant compliance project to lead.
