The Role Work Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm Ensure compliance with UK legislation and customer codes of practices. Develop and organise food safety staff training across the business [in conjunction with HR and our external training resources]. Ensure the QA team does a monthly internal audit and ensure all audits are completed. Record all non-conformities and customer complaints. Maintain the Quality Management System Manual of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BRC v9. Support the Chair of HACCP and QA Meetings to ensure regular meetings and reviews. Support the Technical Manager when on leave. Check duties are undertaken by QA Assistant and other staff allocated to support the QA Team. Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are maintained at all times inclusive of HACCP. Manage plant and product swab and micro testing programme.
The Person Need food manufacturing experience in a similar role. Need some experience supervising a direct report [1 to start]. Ideally hold HACCP and Hygiene to level 3. Ideally hold Internal Auditing qualification and experience. Able to start work earlier or start later one day a week to carry out spot checks. xehkeey Ref 3460
