Quality Manager - Data Centres and ICT infrastructure

We are partnered with a Global ICT and Data centre infrastructure providing full lifecycle design, build and managed services solutions for large, hyperscale data centres and commercial ICT infrastructure. They are looking to grow their PMO team due to Ongoing and won projects and are seeking an experience Quality Manager to join their team.
Role Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining quality standards across technology and infrastructure projects, with an initial focus on strategic programmes and long-term responsibility across all operations.
This role sits within the PMO and focuses on standardising processes, reducing risk, and driving continuous improvement across project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures aligned with client and industry requirements
- Carry out audits and reviews of live and completed projects to ensure compliance
- Identify and manage quality risks, non-conformances, and corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing project performance and audit findings
- Maintain quality documentation and produce reports for senior management
- Deliver training and support to project teams on quality standards and expectations
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on quality
- Support pre-construction and pre-sales teams to improve quality outcomes from early project stages
- Build strong relationships with clients and support project inspections
- Provide leadership and guidance across the full project lifecycle
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in quality management within telecoms, ICT, structured cabling, or data centre environments
- Proven track record working on large-scale or hyperscale data centre projects
- Good knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and auditing processes
- Experience implementing and improving quality standards across multiple projects
- Ability to manage audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and industry standards
- Experience working across full project lifecycles (design through to delivery and handover)
- Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supporting bids or pre-sales activities is beneficial
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 or similar)
