Job Description
Quality Manager\n\nYou will be working for a well-established business which pride themselves on creating and supplying the highest quality products to retailers and specialist outlets throughout the UK.\n\nAs a Quality Manager, you will be providing competent and efficient technical support and service to both internal teams and external customers to ensure that the product and service provided is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.\n\nQuality Manager's Duties:\n\n * Hygiene standards and verification\n\n * Daily quality checks including: metal detection, weight control, product QAS checks, calibration, allergen control product analysis\n\n * Internal audits - daily & weekly\n\n * Working knowledge of quality systems: BRC, TACCP, VACCP, HACCP and RSPO\n\n * Customer specific requirements with regard to policies, QAS and due diligence testing are monitored and actioned\n\n * To ensure all non-conforming materials are correctly identified, documented etc.\n\n * Responsilbilyt for BRC, HACCP, 3rd Party and Retailer audits\n\n * Participate in a root cause analysis, ensure corrective actions implement and the correct disposal of any affected materials\n\nQuality Manager's Experience:\n\n * Degree qualified\n\n * Experienced senior quality / technical manager and held a stable position within FM environment\n\n * HACCP / Food Safety Level 4.\n\n * Internal auditing / leading HACCP team\n\n * BRC system maintenance and implementation\n\n * Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of UK major retail, their systems and demands with past / ongoing experience\n\n * Management experience within a demanding environment (min 5 years)\n\n * Full product integrity and be the point of contact for all quality / technical related issues on site.\n\n * Maintaining an audit ready site and deliver a high and consistent BRC grade\n\n * Driving and delivering quality cultural change across the operations\n\n * Maintain and improve systems\n\n * Manage the Quality / Technical team and provide required coaching and development\n\nQuality Manager's hours of work, pay and benefits\n\n * Salary £45k (DOE), Hours of work: Mon to Fri 8AM to 5PM, Company events, Company pension, Free/Discount food, Free on-site parking, Private medical insurance, Sick pay, Training & Development Opportunities & Career Progression\n\nCandidates must have full rights to work in UK (candidates requiring sponsorship or on PSW Visa will not be considerate)\n\nUnfortunately, due to time restrictions we cannot respond to every applicant, in the event that we haven’t contacted you within 48 hours please take it you have not been successful for this particular role, but your details will be kept on file and considered for all future vacancies.\n\nWe are an equal opportunities agency and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.\n\nWe are acting on behalf of the client as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
