We’re looking for a Quality Management Systems Engineer to lead and evolve our QMS across NP Aerospace. This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of governance, compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring our systems meet international standards while enabling the business to operate efficiently and safely.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s Quality Management System, ensuring it remains compliant, effective and aligned to standards such as ISO 9001 and beyond. You’ll lead the development and maintenance of quality policies, procedures and the Quality Manual, giving you direct influence over how quality is governed across the business.
​You’ll manage internal and external audit programmes, acting as the key interface with certification bodies and leading management reviews. This will allow you to build strong visibility at senior levels while ensuring the business maintains certification and continuously improves its compliance position.
​You’ll also drive document control and process standardisation, introducing structured ways of working that improve consistency and efficiency. By mapping and refining business processes, you’ll play a key role in reducing risk, improving quality outcomes and supporting scalable growth.
Our team embraces modern technologies, including AI-assisted tools, to work smarter and deliver better results. Candidates should either have experience using AI tools or demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply them in their role.

What we’re looking for
​​We’re looking for someone who combines strong QMS expertise with leadership capability and a practical approach to improving business performance. You’ll ideally have:
* Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related discipline
* ​Significant experience (7+ years) working within Quality Management Systems
* ​Proven experience managing and maintaining ISO 9001-certified systems
* ​Experience leading internal and external audits, including certification bodies
* ​Strong knowledge of document control, process governance and compliance frameworks
* ​Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
* ​Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
​Desirable
* ​ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
* ​CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
* ​Experience with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
* ​Experience supporting digital QMS systems or automation initiatives
