We're recruiting a Quality Inspector to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Clitheroe. The business operates with a strong focus on standards, full traceability, and right-first-time manufacturing.The Quality Inspector role is a hands-on, shopfloor-based position, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure components meet tight tolerances and exacting customer requirements.The Quality Inspector role:Inspection of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished partsReading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&TUsing manual inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers, and height gaugesSupporting first-off, in-process, and final inspectionsRaising non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assisting with corrective actionsCompleting inspection documentation and maintaining full traceabilitySupporting FAIRs and ensuring all inspection equipment is calibratedThe ideal Quality Inspector:Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within machining or manufacturingStrong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&TConfident using manual inspection equipmentCMM experience would be advantageousKnowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 beneficialApprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification desirableMethodical, organised, and detail-focused approachWhat's on offer:£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experienceCompany pensionClean, well-organised working environmentOngoing training and developmentStable and growing businessOvertime availableTo apply for this Quality Inspector position, please send your CV or contact Conor Wood at E3 Recruitment directly for more information.JBRP1_UKTJ
