Position: Quality Inspector

Position: permanent

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 07:00 – 16:00 and 7:00 till midday on Fridays

Salary: £28000 during probation (post probation £30000)

Location: Wotton-under-Edge

We are now seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector to work for aerospace and automotive manufacturing business near Wotton-under-Edge. The appropriate quality inspector would be responsible for inspection mechanical sub-assemblies to technical engineering drawings as well as performing final inspection of finished products

Key Responsibilities of Quality Inspector

  • Inspection of parts/products to drawings and specifications
  • In-process and final inspection
  • Use of calibrated measuring equipment
  • Support calibration activities
  • Raise and manage concessions / non-conformances
  • Record inspection results accurately

Requirements of Quality Inspector

  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail
  • Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools
