Quality Inspector Our client is a well-established manufacturing business supplying high-quality components into sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, and Electronics. The site operates a range of state-of-the-art injection moulding machines, and offers additional processes such as ultrasonic welding, printing, electronics assembly, and testing.We are looking for a Quality Inspector With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, this is a great opportunity to join a small, supportive team in a clean, well-organised manufacturing environment.Working Hours & PackageMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm39 hours per weekSalary: £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)25 days holidayPension schemeFull on-site roleOn-site parking availableKey ResponsibilitiesMeasurement and inspection of new and existing componentsCompletion of ISIR, PSW, PPAP and FAIR submissions in line with customer requirementsCompletion and management of IMDS submissionsManagement and approval of quality submissionsManagement of tooling sample submissions (UK & Global)Generation of work instructionsLiaison between suppliers, project teams, manufacturing, and customersMonthly reporting of quality performanceManagement of customer quality concernsFirst-off, last-off and patrol inspectionsGoods inwards and goods outwards inspectionExperience & Skills RequiredExperience in precision measurement using CMM, Shadowgraph and manual measuring toolsExperience completing quality submission requirements (PSW, PPAP, FAIR, etc.)Experience with IMDS submissions (advantageous but not essential)Experience producing corrective action plans, continuous improvement activities and 8D reportsHigh level of IT skills, particularly Microsoft OfficeExperience within the plastic injection moulding sector would be advantageous, but is not essentialStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
