The basics:

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am to 12.30pm)

Pay: £14.12 - £14.76 per hour - DOE

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Overtime available at x1.33 Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 Sunday

Holidays/Benefits: Holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be tasked to visually inspect metal components with some dimensional checks also required, using hand tools such as verniers, callipers, depth/height gauges.

Visually and dimensionally inspect metal precision engineered componentsThe ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Must have previous experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, callipers etc. Experience reading engineering drawingsCommutable from:

Redditch, Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Worcester and surrounding areas.
