The Role - Quality Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Tewkesbury.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

You’ll be working in a brand new, expanding facility under the guidance of a fantastic team.

Responsibilities - Quality Inspector

Inspect parts and assemblies, including subcontracted components, using appropriate inspection equipment
Conduct final inspections of assemblies, including visual checks and documentation review
Issue Authorized Release Certificates following successful inspection
Review supplier FAIRs and support completion of FAIRs for finished assemblies
Raise non-conformance reports and coordinate disposition with relevant stakeholders
Act as a delegated Quality representative in customer interactions
Background - Quality Inspector

Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes
Experience in inspecting parts using CMM machines (Advantageous)
Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
