Quality Inspector (Dimensional & NDT)

Location: Barnsley Shift: Days Salary: £35,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team on a day shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality and specification requirements through dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out dimensional inspection using a range of measuring equipment

* Perform NDT inspections, including:

* Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

* Dye Penetrant Testing (DPI)

* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Complete inspection reports and quality documentation

* Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions

* Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment

* Strong dimensional inspection background

* NDT certification or proven experience in:

* Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

* Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* High attention to detail and strong communication skills
