This role offers the chance to work in a modern, fast-paced environment, supporting mission-critical products for customers across multiple sectors. The Role As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality across both customer and production areas. Youll lead investigations, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485. Youll work closely with multiple departments to support manufacturing processes, perform audits, conduct inspections, and develop operational procedures that maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain quality manufacturing plans, PFMEAs, and operational procedures. Conduct product and process audits, quality spot checks, and inspections at various production stages. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support compliance with key quality accreditations and customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Assist in supplier quality management and new product introduction reviews. About You Essential: Minimum 1 year experience in a Quality Engineer role within manufacturing or engineering. Experience working to ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or similar standards. Skilled in problem-solving tools such as 8D, CAPA, and 5 Whys. Internal auditing experience to recognised quality standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in data analysis. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Desirable: Background in electronics manufacturing. HNC (Level 4) qualification in engineering or a relevant discipline. IPC qualifications (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610). Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification.
