Quality Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a growing Quality Team, providing dedicated support throughout the UK. Based from Doncaster this role will also include regular travel to site.
Key Responsibilities;

Act as the main point of contact for quality issues across multiple project sites.
*
Collaborate with project and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances and drive continuous improvement.
*
Deliver engaging quality briefings, communications and promote quality culture through site visits and support.
*
Analyse trends in non-conformance and testing data to identify root causes and improvement areas.
*
Track and analyse costs associated with poor quality and propose cost-reduction strategies.
*
Prepare and maintain project-specific quality documentation (Contract Quality Plans, risk assessments, monthly reports).
*
Review and monitor compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
*
Lead and conduct audits and inspections based on ISO 9001:2015 and internal company standards.
*
Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure understanding and implementation of quality requirements.
*
Ensure compliance with Network Rail, VRSB, and internal IMS procedures.
