Job Description
Quality Engineer
Rugby
Up to £45,000
T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative global manufacturing business who focus on the development and reengineering of industrial machinery for a variety of sectors, to help them to recruit a Quality Engineer.
As a Quality Engineer you will work closely with the wider Quality team to take responsibility for compliance across the site, improving the businesses Quality Management Systems whilst also promoting a right first-time culture.
Key Responsibilities as a Quality Engineer
Development and management of internal processes in line with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
Ensuring high levels of Quality and compliance across all areas of the site.
Development and sign off of new quality documentation with wider quality team prior to NPI and or new processes being introduced on site.
Involvement in both APQP and PPAP.
Management of NCRs, from initial discovery alongside inspectors through to verification and closure with customers.
Requirements to be a successful Quality Engineer
Proven experience within a similar quality engineering role.
Experience working within both ISO9001 and AS9100 frameworks.
Previous experience of APQP and or PPAP desirable.
A strong understanding / ability to interpret, analyse and read engineering drawings.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Fantastic communication skills with a great attention for detail.
The role will be based from the companies headquarters in Rugby, with a salary of £45,000 initially budgeted depending on experience.
