Quality Engineer, Exeter Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer within a leading manufacturer in the Exeter area. This role provides leadership and guidance across the organisation, acting as a change agent to drive process improvement and support operational excellence. The role would suit either a recent graduate, or an experienced professional. Key Responsibilities Assess the effectiveness of business systems against customer and industry standards through internal audits and corrective/preventative action processes Develop, maintain, and implement quality system procedures and work instructions in line with regulatory and customer requirements Lead purchase order and specification reviews, including interpretation and translation of requirements to operational level Act as a customer advocate, ensuring expectations are understood and met Drive process improvement initiatives, including reduction of non-conformances and implementation of corrective actions Ensure completion and submission of customer verification requirements (e.g., FAIR documentation) Carry out additional duties as required within the scope of the role Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience Experience in Quality Engineering Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection, and engineering principles Proven problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Good IT and computer skills Package Salary £36,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience Enhanced leave entitlement Bonus Healthcare plan Enhanced pension Excellent career growth opportunities Further training and development opportunities IND-HL-25 Butler Rose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Butler Rose Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
