Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician. You will be reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor of this highly successful healthcare company, and you will be responsible for fault finding and the inspection of endoscope equipment. Our client is seeking someone with an analytical mind who enjoys a busy work environment. Ideally you will already have a background in some type of equipment quality control ideally.As the Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for:Assessment, Partial disassembly, repair, and function testing of a range of products to the required Incoming inspection & Fault finding of various types of endoscope and related productsPreparation of inspection reports to guide workshops on repair requirementsFinal inspection, testing and packing of repaired productsUsing PC equipment for the recording of technical information and other tasks associated with department activity (goods receipt/despatch)Communicating with workshop and logistics staffEnsure all work is completed to Quality Management System requirementsWork towards maintaining company and personal quality goals and objectivesAdministrative duties relating to the repair processProvide service report updates to team support functionsDeveloping skills and competence on additional products/services within the service departmentWork within the guidelines of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974The successful QC Technician will have the following related skills / experience:Experience in a similar role is desirableMechanical/electronic aptitudeAble to follow processes/technical manualsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to identify defects in workmanshipAnalytical mindAbility to work unsupervisedAbility to work with computersGood manual dexterityBenefits:25 days annual leave + bank holidaysAfter successfully completing 6-month probation period, enrolment into Death in Service scheme (4x salary)Pension with Royal London (enrolment after 3 months of employment)Perkbox - discounts/offers with various popular brandsCycle to work scheme (after 3 months of employment)JBRP1_UKTJ
