Futures are working on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer within the building materials sector, currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their production team. This is a key role focused on ensuring product quality, compliance, and consistency across the manufacturing process.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure all materials and finished products meet internal and external standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods Ensure all products meet industry standards, specifications, and compliance requirements Record and document inspection results accurately, highlighting any non-conformances Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues Work collaboratively with production teams to improve quality performance Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment where required Assist with audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) Monitor health & safety and quality procedures on the shop floor The Ideal Candidate
