Quality Control Inspector

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is working with a respected and flexible local engineering business to recruit a Quality Control Inspector. This permanent opportunity offers a 4-day working week consisting of four 10-hour day shifts, allowing you to enjoy a 3-day weekend every week. The company operates within the Aerospace and Medical sectors and prides itself on being a supportive, family-run business where you are valued as an individual.

Key Duties

Carry out mechanical inspection of precision-engineered components.

Perform in-process inspection activities.

Support First Article Inspection processes (where applicable).

Operate CMM equipment (desirable).

Undertake general machine operation duties, including CNC where required.

Ensure all products meet strict Aerospace and Medical quality standards.

Requirements

Proven mechanical inspection experience.

Previous experience within Aerospace or Medical manufacturing (preferred).

First Article Inspection knowledge (desirable).

CMM experience (desirable).

In-process inspection experience.

General machine operation skills, CNC experience advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
