On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing commercial vehicle conversion business, we are currently recruiting a Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer to work in their R&D production facility in Pontypool. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in products and processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to define and embed best practices. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Use customer feedback to govern product quality, ensuring satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and corrective actions. Evaluate existing processes against organisational quality goals and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations to resolve quality issues. Identify industry benchmarks and implement best practices to drive improvement initiatives. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
