The Quality / Calibration Engineer will provide leadership and be responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of Calibrated Equipment and it’s System in line with key Aerospace requirements, fundamentally focusing around EN_9100 and traceability to National & International Standards.Key Responsibilities Maintain calibrated equipment across the business, managing both internal and external calibration requirements. Maintain QMS requirements in line with ongoing standard expectations (AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements). Prepare and organise internal audits, including NCR closure. Support customer requirements for annual audit activities. Adhere to company health and safety requirements and complete all required training. Process supplier and customer returns for non-conforming items. Promote performance improvement activities and quality assurance programs throughout the company. Identify and implement corrective and preventative actions. Carry out problem-solving activities within production. Identify and investigate trends from internal failure modes. Ensure QA activities and priorities are met to achieve on-time delivery (internally and externally). Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a professional and consistent working environment. Work flexibly, including potential travel between sites or customer locations, depending on business needs. Communicate directly with customer quality representatives when investigating complaints. Support and adapt to changes in standards, policies, processes, and products. Skills and Qualifications / Experience Calibration experience (practical knowledge and understanding). Strong understanding of EN 9100 requirements (minimum 3 years’ experience). Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
