1. POSITION
This position is based at the location defined in your contract of employment and you will report to the QSHE Manager. You may be required, however, to work at other local depots from time to time, as required, to meet the needs of the business.
2. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

3. QUALITY MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily auditing of Production paperwork at the line and at the end of shift.
Conduct shelf life testing with the Management Team and accurate recording of the results.
Collect retained samples for shelf life from the line.
Take part in periodic GMP Audits and sharing of results and actions with the Management Team..
Testing of milk samples for micro analysis.
Checking and accurate filing of production paperwork.
Recording of fridge temperatures.
Recording and issuing of site non-conformances.
Conduct internal audits.
4. OFFICE ADMIN MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is required to cover planned and unplanned absence/holiday with full training provided.
Take telephone (answer machine) messages from BMBs and Depots and process orders, delivery notes and load sheets.
To communicate competently on the telephone and in person with customers, suppliers, staff and directors, in a friendly, courteous and professional manner and communicate calls or information onwards to the relevant person.
Completion of daily and weekly data inputting and completion of reports.
Liaise with customers to address enquiries and provide assistance.
Taking and processing of customer orders, ensuring all details are correctly recorded and communicated.
To ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data on the Companys in house computer systems and ledgers, and check the information outputs of these systems and ledgers for accuracy and meaning by way of reconciliations and cross checks.
Maintain customer accounts and delivery instructions on handhelds used by Drivers.
Manage the filing of information in an ordered and logical fashion.
Daily inputting of data onto the milk tanker spreadsheet, recording milk delivered, bought and sold.
Highlight any issues of concern financial or otherwise to the Distribution Manager, Compliance Manager or Site & Operations Manager when they arise.
4. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Previous experience in a Quality role.
Able to work alone and part of a team using own initiative.
Experience in working in an office/manufacturing environment.
Excellent numeracy and data inputting skills.
Ability to talk to customers confidently and competently on the telephone.
Organizing, filing and maintaining important documents
Good verbal skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
Ability to juggle various tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to adjust to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
Keen attention to detail.
