Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30/ Friday, 07.30 to 12.30
Groomfield Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality standards and continuous improvement across production operations.
The Role
Inspect and test products against specifications and quality standards
Monitor production processes using SOPs and implement corrective actions
Maintain quality documentation including inspection procedures and test plans
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
Work closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams
Train team members on quality processes and standards
Requirements
Essential:
Proficiency in CAD software
Strong knowledge of metals, machining processes and tooling
Good understanding of GD&T and drawing control
Experience producing technical documentation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
