Job Description
QA ENGINEER
LONDON/HYBRID
UP TO £60,000
This is an exciting opportunity to join a tech‑driven organisation that is reinventing how individuals understand and manage their finances. You will play a key role in shaping a modern, automation‑first quality function and work in an environment where AI‑ engineering is not just encouraged but expected.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The QA Engineer will:
• Build automated tests for web applications using modern frameworks.
• Create robust API and back end test coverage across microservices.
• Use AI tools to accelerate code , debugging and synthetic data creation.
• Strengthen regression suites and supporting testing during platform and CRM changes.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams and other QA specialists to ensure clarity, consistency and testability.
• Contribute to test documentation and participating in sprint ceremonies.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Strong commercial experience in automation testing, ideally across both UI and API.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with the ability to design scalable automation frameworks.
• Confident working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of API testing, JSON/XML formats and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Comfortable working in data‑rich environments and testing microservice architectures.
• A clear automation‑first mentality, actively using AI within your engineering workflow.
• Experience in Agile teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
