Are you an experienced Quality assistant looking for the next step in your career?SourceCo Recruitment is seeking aTechnical & Quality Assistantto join a successful team in Tewkesbury.This hands-on role plays a key part in maintainingquality, food safety, and complianceacross the site.Salary:£35k-£36k Per AnnumWorking hours:Monday - Friday 0700 - 1530(This role does involve bank holiday working)What you'll be doing:Support quality control programmes and ensure compliance with food safety standardsAssist with audits, traceability exercises, and site accreditation requirementsInvestigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actionsMonitor and report on quality KPIs, complaints, and technical dataWork closely with production, laboratory teams, and external partnersSupport inductions, documentation, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat we are looking for:Experience in a technical or quality role withinfood manufacturing or dairyUnderstanding of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, BRCGS)Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and analytical skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teamsA proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindsetThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business where you can contribute to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement across the operation.If you are interested in this role, please apply now and a consultant will be in touch!JBRP1_UKTJ
