Prison-based role requiring full site presence and face-to-face learner engagement.
Role Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced Quality Assistant Manager (Prison Education) to lead quality performance and drive improvements across all subject areas, including Functional Skills. This role champions excellence in teaching, learning, assessment, and behaviour management strategies within a custodial setting. You will also line manage Neurodiversity and Reading Specialists and promote corporate values and compliance throughout the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Leadership & Assurance
Drive the Quality Cycle across the department as the lead quality manager.
Plan and lead annual lesson observation cycles, blended learning reviews, deep dives, and learning walks.
Produce reports and action plans following observations and ensure effective feedback to staff.
Undertake quality assurance on teaching, neurodiversity, and reading processes.
Monitor and coordinate IQA/EQA schedules and carry out IQA duties where required.
