Quality and Development Manager Childrens Residential Care Location: Burton upon Trent Salary: £40,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, across a 7-day rota with varied shifts Are you passionate about raising standards and delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people? Were looking for an experienced leader to take on a pivotal role driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our childrens homes. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, undertaking audits and ensuring services are Ofsted-ready.
Support Home Managers with the daily running of services, recruitment, supervision, and development of high-performing teams.
Lead on safeguarding, ensuring the welfare and safety of children and staff at all times.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools, health services, and other key partners.
Manage rotas, budgets, and regulatory requirements efficiently.
Drive continuous improvement and staff development, working alongside therapeutic professionals to embed best practice.
Provide operational support in the absence of the Home Manager and contribute to on-call duties where required.
