We’re working closely with a range of supportive and well-regarded secondary schools across Sheffield who are seeking passionate History and RE specialists to join their teams for a variety of opportunities, including day-to-day supply, long-term cover, and temp-to-perm placements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering high-quality History and/or Religious Education lessons in line with the national curriculum

Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills across KS3 and KS4

Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment

Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND or additional needs

Collaborating with department leads and support staff to drive student progress

Adapting teaching approaches to engage and inspire diverse learners

Contributing to the wider school community with professionalism and enthusiasm

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

Specialism in History and/or Religious Education

Strong classroom management and confident curriculum knowledge

A positive, proactive, and inclusive approach to teaching

A genuine passion for education and student development
