Due to expanding our team we have an exciting opportunity for either a part or full-time dental nurse/ receptionist to join our busy, friendly practice. We would be happy to consider a trainee candidate.Our lovely practice is based within the grounds of Yeatman Hospital in Sherborne.*Job Title - *Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist*Salary-* To be discussed at interview*Key Responsibilities & Duties** Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression* Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records* Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice* Making patients aware of dental services and offers and handling payments* Decontaminating, preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment* Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality*We're looking for someone who has:** Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment* Preferably previous administration/ reception and/or dental nursing experience* A positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality with a great customer focus* Ideally SOE/Exact experience, but training can be given* Strong communication and organisation skills* Excellent communication skills and telephone xsrmqjs manner* Able to work flexibly with others in a team environment* Reliable and committed* Interested in Dentistry and enjoys constantly learning and developing in your role*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:** Enrolled or willingness to enrol on Qualification in Dental Nursing - NEBDN/NVQ* GCSE educated to include English
