The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting learners, delivering high-quality assessment, and guiding individuals through their learning journey.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own caseload, and building strong relationships with learners and employers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & DeliveryDeliver high-quality, knowledge and competency-based assessments to learnersSupport learners through structured planning, feedback, and regular interactionAssess and mark workplace evidence for qualifications and Essential SkillsLearner ManagementManage a caseload of learners, ensuring timely achievement of qualificationsConduct monthly progress reviews and set clear, measurable targetsDevelop and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)Programme CoordinationPlan and deliver effective learner inductions with employersEnsure the learner journey is clearly defined, documented, and regularly reviewedTravel across a regional area to conduct workplace assessmentsQuality & ComplianceMaintain Internal Quality Assurance standards in line with best practiceSupport the development of literacy, numeracy, ICT, and digital skillsEnsure all processes meet awarding body and organisational requirementsIdeal Background & ExperienceTo be suitable for this role, you will need:EssentialLevel 2 & 3 NVQ/QCF in Children & Young PeopleExperience delivering training within this sectorCAVA qualification (or equivalent)Previous assessor experienceFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWillingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered)Willingness to register with EWCDesirableWelsh speakingPersonality & Working StylePassionate about supporting learner developmentStrong organisational and time management skillsAble to work independently and manage a caseload effectivelyConfident communicator with learners and employersFlexible and adaptable in a field-based roleBenefits30 days holiday (increasing with service)Pension schemeHealth care schemeRetail and gym discountsProfit-sharing schemeLife insuranceEmployee recognition awardsOngoing development opportunitiesWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00am 4:30pmHours:35 hours per weekJob Type: PermanentWork Location: In personJBRP1_UKTJ
