Job Title: Part-Time QTS Tutor (Maths & English) Location: Salford Start Date: April 2026 (After Easter Half Term) Hourly Rate: GBP30 per hour Average Hours: 20 hours per week Role Overview: Are you a QTS-qualified teacher with a passion for supporting students who need extra academic help? This part-time QTS Tutor role in Salford is the perfect opportunity for you to provide Maths and English tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM), helping students achieve their full potential in these core subjects.

With QTS being a requirement for this position, your teaching expertise will ensure that students receive the highest standard of support to overcome their academic challenges. Key Responsibilities: Provide Maths and English tuition to students with SEN during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM). Design and deliver personalised lessons that cater to each students individual learning needs.

Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as required. Collaborate with school staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Develop tailored learning plans to support both academic and personal development.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential. At least 6 months of UK-based experience in tuition or working with children with SEN.

Experience teaching Maths and English in a structured, engaging way. Availability for at least 3 days a week. Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.

A proactive, student-centred approach to teaching. Additional Information: The role is part-time, with an average of 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is GBP30, and the role will be carried out during school hours (9 AM to 3 PM).
